| Jerusalem District | cafe near temple mount institute Posted: Sun February 17, 2008 12:11 PM UTC
hello everyone from california!
from what i understand, there is a cafe right by the Temple Mount Institute? Can anyone give me info about it? I guess the Temple Mount Insitute is right up the stairs from the wailing wall? I was hoping to have a place where i could go and hang out while i am in that area sightseeing--anyone have info on the type of place it is and hours, what they serve, etc. thnks |

I don't know how close it is to the institute (you can easily check it on http://www.emap.co.il, they have an English section). But, you probably mean "The Qurater Cafe" (or, "Cafe Ha-Rova" in Hebrew). They are located in the Jewish quarter overlooking the western wall and the dome of the rock. You can look at: http://www.rest.co.il/sites/Default.asp?txtRestID=
