| Zhuhai | Arriving Macau Airport 10.40 am, Leaving from Zhuhai Airport 4.40 pm. Is there enough time to reach Posted: Sat February 16, 2008 01:49 PM UTC
Dear Zhuhai VT,
I am planning a trip to Guiyang from Macau. I arrive at Macau Airport at 10.40 am on Friday and planning to depart from Zhuhai Airport at 4.40 pm. May i know whether there is enough time to clear the Gongbei Customs in order to reach Zhuhai Airport on Friday to pay for my departure air ticket and check-in for China Southern flight for Guiyang? Might take an hour to get through the border formalities. Macau is small enough, so is Zhuhai. I am told it has the longest runway in China.
The bus station and taxi rank is more or less underneath the border post. Seems like enough time.

from the airport you can of course take a taxi (just say Zhuhai) or take the airport bus to border (Cercos de ____ stop), the above post is correct, could take an hour +/- to clear customs and taxis are relatively cheap on China side or there is an airport bus if you can find somebody to help. You can use Chinese yuan to pay for taxi or food in Macau but probably need a few pataca coins for bus. Enjoy!
