It takes around 5-6 hours to go to Sagada from Baguio, so take the first bus out of Baguio, which is at 6:00am at the Dangwa Station and one day isn't enough, you need to stay there for at least one night. It is high time in Sagada during Holy Week so I suggest book your hotel now. If you need a guide you can email sagadagenuineguides@gmail.com and they can help you with your itinerary or you can check their webpage http://sagadagenuineguides.blogspot.com/

holy week is peak season in sagada. if you prefer lesser crowd, then your trip should be either before or after the lenten season.

As djklump said, holy week is the peak season here in sagada. During that time, sagada would, sort of, become just like a city wherein the road will be crowded with people and cars. One of the problems during this time is the booking for a place to stay, because most, if not all of the inns here have been fully booked earlier. If you come during the holy week without prior reservations, chances are you will find difficulty looking for a place to stay. Availability of tour guides will not be a problem once you are here.
I suggest that you reset the date that you will come to sagada, either before or after the holy week. However, if you still decide to come to sagada during the holy week because that would be your only available time, you are still welcome.

By the way, the public transpo coming here in sagada is the Lizardo Trans. The bus station is at the Dangwa Station. It is situated just above the Center Mall.

there will a soft launching of the lemon pie house in atey, dao-angan, sagada on good friday, that's march 21st at 6pm. make sure you attend that. local singers will perform and others will do some poetry reading. coffee, lemon pies, nice tables, warm people.
