Has anyone stayed at the following hotels and can they advise on them? -
Best Western Los Espanoles Casa Newen Bed & Breakfast Panamericana Hotel Providencia La Fayette Suites And if you know any other good, preferably small hotels in Providencia, I would be very open to recommendations. |

That is a strange mixture! You have a variety of prices there.
Los Españoles is good. On the other side of the river Mapocho from the restaurant area of Providencia. Casa Newen is a bit out of the way really. Panamericana is big, very central, a bit noisy on the front. La Fayette Suites are good. I think price includes breakfast and you get a kitchen. Other places in Providencia: Vilafranca B&B (or they may now call themselves boutique hotel) a couple of blocks from a metro, very small but always pleases. If you want somewhere you can cook, Apart Hotel Tobalaba is in Providencia and good as is the Santa Magdalena. A lot of companies invest in apartments in new buildings and rent them out as Apart Hotels. Often several companies will have apartments in the same building at different prices. Here are some more of the better known ones. www.lasebastiana.cl www.elmahue.cl These are in Las Condes, but the bit right next to Providencia where a lot of restaurants are: http://www.altocastello.cl

I thought of another smallish hotel which doesn't often get mentioned but which is well placed for the metro and in Providencia.
