Hi there

Me and my wife are going for a short trip to Warsaw in early mars.....

Is there anyone that knows any good restaurants with live music (jazz/soul/pop/rock....etc.) and nice atmosphere, resoneble prices and not too touristy.
we will be in town for friday and saturday, do we need to book table in advance??

thanx!

Hi, we went to The Jazz Bistro, just off Old Town Square, which could be right up your street. There was a pianist playing on the night when we visited. The food, atmosphere and service were really good and we thought that the price was very reasonable. It will probably be pretty busy on the nights when you will be in town so I would think that it would be best to book. More details on my Warsaw page or at http://www.jazzbistro.pl/
Hope this helps.
Have a good time.
Richard

One of the jazz clubs is TYGMONT i can recommend it definitely, there are concerts and jams from 18 until midnight every day, for detailed info see www.tygmont.com.pl On Fri and Sat it becomes a club with latin music, but they have two floors and jazz concerts are held at the same time upstairs (two floors up). Personally I like this place a lot though its not very stylish but has a great atmosphere and is quite cheap. In order to have a seat, I think you will need to call them in advance to book a place.
