hello, we are staying in Porto Torres in June 2008 and wonder if any one could tell me if Porto Torres has a market and which day? also are there any large supermarkets in the town or would we be better going to Alghero to stock up, we will be self catering. Many Thanks for any info

the weekly market is every thursday in Via delle Vigne. I don't know it well, but i'm sure that there are plenty of spare supermarkets all around the town. Ciao Francesco
