I have been successful using the Viamichelin site to get driving directions except for the directions from the Lisbon airport to Hotel Alif, at Campo Pequeno 51. (I know which bus to take but not how to actually drive there). Arriving on friday afternoon after overnight flights....Can anyone help?

Your hotel should be near the bullring arena if my memory serves me right.

Yes, that is the one. Will it be relatively simple to drive there from the airport? It says 10 minutes...but I assume that is 10 minutes of one knows the way!!

I think you cant miss the bullring. It's big and you'll see it on your left side coming from the airport.

Try this on ViaMichelin.

Departure: Lisboa Praca do Aeroporto.
Destination: 1000 Lisboa Campo Pequeno 51.

Distance from the airport: 3.5kms.
Time: 8 minutes (Good luck in Lisbon traffic)
The Hotel Alif is located right beside the Campo Pequeno Bullring.

From the airport, drive straight on towards the center of Lisbon, direction south.
Pass a roundabout with two viaducts spanning over, and continue straight on through Avenida Gago Coutinho. This avenue is sided by villas on both sides.
At the end of this road, there's a square with buildings with pink facades, called Praca Sa Carneiro.
From this square, take the 2nd street on the right - Av. Joao XXI. At the end of Av Joao XXI it's Campo Pequeno with the huge bullfight arena on the right bound. I think the hotel is just before Campo Pequeno.
I assume that you pick a car at the airport. If you're not sure of the way, quite easy though, ask the rent a car staff. Usually they give you maps and some infos.
