| Puerto Galera | El Galeon Beach Resort Posted: Tue February 12, 2008 05:56 PM UTC
Hi people,
Has anyone stayed at The El Galeon Beach Resort? We're looking at a 14 night stay with diving every other day. Does anyone have any idea of the hotel restaurant prices and any feedback would be greatly appreciated so we can work out a budget. Any general comments on PG would be appreciated as we've no idea what to expect. Cheers as always. T&D |

El Galeon? Which part of PG is this? Sabang/La Laguna/Aninnuan/Talipanan?
Pls check the address. PG is ok. Sabang area is where the action is "nightlife" of PG, over crowded and busy day and night. I suggest you go to the white beach which is Aninnuan, better and quiet compared to other areas. 14days is quite long and if you really want to dive everyday, its better to go ANILAO, Batangas and divers go there. They actually have a website : http://www.asiadivers.com/elgalleon/index.php. Yes they are tied up with Asia Divers. El Galeon is a bit pricey but definitely a good pace to stay.
As for restaurants, there are a lot around Sabang to choose from if you find them a bit pricey. Most places to eat, bars are a few minutes from El Galleon. If you are budget conscious, there are alternatives. PM me if you need recommendations.
