Going to be in Houston for 1 night. Where is the best place to stay to hit as many bars as possible, within walking distance. Looking for a slightly older crowd type bar, country, oldies, etc.

Downtown. Closer to the northern part near Main Street would be best.
There aren't many bar areas in Houston that are walkable.
