Hi, just a quick question - Going to Hamburg toninght! Am I right in thinking that the bus from Lubeck airport, (I'm flying Ryanair), goes to the main bus station in Hamburg? And that is next to the Hauptbahnhof?

ZOB is indeed short for central bus station, which is next door to central station / Hauptbahnhof.
Don't skip Lübeck's old town. Lübeck's central station is within walking distance (just behind Holstentor), and you can of course also take the train to Hamburg.

Yes, Turtleshell is right. its just near... Lubeck is very nice and dont miss the marzipan!Its easy to take a train to Hamburg anyway....Enjoy!
