| Dallas | Rodeo show on Tuesday? Posted: Sun February 10, 2008 11:21 PM UTC
We will be driving through southern states in April and according to the plan we will arrive to Dallas on April 8th (Tuesday). Unfortunately all of the rodeo shows I was able to locate so fat were only on Fri/Sat. Any suggestions where can we go on a workday? It does not have to be exactly in Dallas, anywhere along the way from New Orleans to Dallas or from Dallas to Albuquerque...

Your best bet for Cowboy related information and tourism is actually in Fort Worth. If you are coming from New Orleans, you will likely take I-49 north to Shreveport, LA, then west into Dallas on I-20. If you continue on Highway 80 in Terrell, TX you will reach downtown Dallas, and at that point, you are now on I-30. After your time in Dallas, remain on I-30 into Fort Worth, visit the stockyards, then you can make your way up the Texas pan handle to I-40 out to Albq.
For more information on the cowboy related things in Fort Worth, check out the Search: page at the top of the webpage here, enter in Fort Worth, then click on Things to Do. There will have many options, including the Fort Worth Stockyards. Also, please remember to rate the pages that you read and put them in your trip planner. This is a great way of thanking people who have already spent alot of time building this information database for you.
