| Isla de Lanzarote | Euros or Sterling? Posted: Fri February 8, 2008 08:44 PM UTC
As you may know the rate for the pound v euro is terrible! (1.29euro=£1)
Would be better if I were to bring sterling and change to euro when I get there next week? Regards. |

Yes, but just be careful where you exchange it. One place will give you a good rate, but hit you with a fee. Others have no fee. Try Travel Agnets. They usually give better deals so you might book an excursion with them.
I would get a few Euros from M&S or the Post Office4 so so you have some walking around money. The best way and the best rate you will ever get is with a NAtionwide Building Society account. Free account and NO FEES worldwide! All the best, DAO http://www.nationwide.co.uk/current_account/default.htm

I am guessing you live in the UK? Can you please fill out some of your profile? It helps us to help you.
Thanks.
