Nerja Travel Forum

My seventeen year old will be traveling to Nerja this summer with a friend and I would like to acquire safe and reliable transportation for the girls from the airport to their apartment in Nerja. I would like to have a car waiting for them when they arrive to assure thier safety. Can anyone reccommend a car company?

Not sure of any car/chaueffer companies, but why dont they just jump in one of the taxis straight outside arrivals that will take them direct to Nerja. All taxis are safe in Malaga and fairs are fixed.

Or you could call Malaga airport and order a cab, pay in advance and the driver will wait at arrivals with a sign(surname)

Never used them and have no idea of price but other people have recommended them.

There are very reliable buses from Malaga to Nerja, but the last one leaves early evening.

Jose is a total Andalucian family man and gentleman. His cars are clean and he is a safe driver. If you telephone him and book a car, they can speak a little English (enough). He will make sure he will be there to greet your the girls, espcially if you explain it is for 'mi hija'

This guy is totally reliable and I wouldn't recommend anyone else.

by the way, last time I used Jose, it cost 90 euros. (ask him the saet price when you telephone).
If you take a cab from outside the aiport, it will probably cost alot more and you also do not know who they are. Malaga airport can be chaotic at the best of times , especially if tired as they were building a new terminal last time I was there (not sure if it is finished).Jose lives in Nerja with his family and is well known to all, and so will be returning to his home base.
