| Atlanta | Atlanta to Peachtree city Posted: Thu February 7, 2008 02:09 PM UTC
Howdy folks, I'm looking for some info. I'm traveling from the UK to Atlanta, I need to get from Atlanta to Peachtree city.
I can't see if there is a bus service or a train there. So I presume it will have to be a taxi, does anyone know roughly how much a taxi would cost from atlanta roughly airport area to peachtree city. Much appreciated |

Peeachtree City is about (just a rough guess) 40 miles South from the airport. You would have to do it either by rental car or taxi. The taxi fare would be around $70 to 80, one way.

UPDATE
I had time to double check since I was wondering myself just how far Ptree City was from the Airport. It turns out it's closer than I thought, only about 25 miles. So taxi fare would obviously be less as well, in the vicinity of $60 as a rough estimate.

Peachtree City is not that easy to get to from Atlanta. There aren't any direct major thoroughfares to get there, and the transit system used in the Atlanta Metro area is not going to go to Peachtree city.
It would probably be best to rent a car as I would imagine that it would be cheaper than a taxi and would give you the freedom to move when you want to.
