Hi all,

Has anybody done any of the activities listed above in Tromso area. If so which company did you use and would you reccommend them. The main companies that I have found on the internet are:

natur i nord
lyngenfjord
villmarkssenter
arctic adventures

But I am happy to hear reviews for any other company. Is it better to book online or are discounts available in tromso? I'm going on friday 9th feb pm ....sorry for leaving iot so late

This year the 9th of February is on a Saturday ;o)
But have a great stay in Norway!

I live in Tromsø, but have never been on an organized tour so can't really comment on the different companies - however, from what I've heard they're all supposed to be quite ok, haven't heard anything bad about any of them. Oh, and I doubt you'll get any discounts if you book in Tromsø, it's ususally the other way around (cheaper to book online).

Anyway, do *not* book any trips for Sunday the 10th;o) - you'll want to be in the town centre that day, as the Norwegian Reindeer Racing Championship (!!!) takes place right in the centre of Tromsø (on the main street, in fact) - it's quite fun!
