hello! can anyone help me with my first trip to luzon on march? I will be flying in from Laoag as i want to see the historical spots in Laoag and then go to Vigan, to Pagudpud, Banaue rice terraces and in Sagada..do you think i can make it all in 3 days? im leaving manila for laoag on march 8 at 6:25 pm via Cebu Pacific Air..maybe stay for the night in laoag then the following day i'll start my escapade..i will have 2 whole days for the trip as my exit will be in Baguio on March 11 at 10:40 am flight..there's a flight to Manila from Baguio via Asian Spirit..can i hire a car in laoag? how far is mountain province from baguio? any help will be much appreciated! thanks

3 days for all of these places??? are u aware the long bus journeys bet these places? esp the sagada to baguio?(its 6 hours )It would be better if u just skip baguio, and just concentrate on laog-vigan and sagada, one day each.but u might booked ur baguio-manila flight already. whats the best place to go for that whole 3 days? im really not going to tour baguio..i will just go to baguio as where the airport is...i cant really do that? so you suggest i will go back to laoag from sagada? i dont have the ticket yet as im not really familiar with the places in luzon but i want to see most of those places in 3 days as much as possible..i hope anyone can help me with the itinerary any ideas where I can avail of a self drive car rental in Laoag? Can I have the contact numbers and if possible their rate.

Laoag is nice, I lived here for a year. The best is to visit all the old churches, the beauty of Laoag.Fort Ilocandia Resort, Malacanang Palace, Marcos house and Pagudpud beach which is 20mins. away. There are vans you can hire near the bus station of Farinas. Try asking...no idea how much they cost now.3days atleast in Laoag From Laoag you can go Vigan. There are only 2streets where you can see old Spanish inspired houses or you can check furniture makers also or try the vigan sausages!No need to stay overnight but if you drive tup to Baguio, better stay 1 night.Baguio is small city,nothing much but bars at night and mall.If you have money, stay at Manor Hotel for 4thousand/night. Its a nice garden hotel.Nice resto too.If you want cheaper hotels drive along Legarda St and you will see a lot of Hotels.Sagada is good for adventure, trekking etc. Try it then but be sure you know your guide. Be careful!Bring a friend/s with you to sagada!

Dude if you think you can cover Laoag, Vigan and Pagudpud in 3days, you are in for a headache. Don't even think of Cordillera at this point. You do know where those places are in the map right?

why don't you make it a longer trip. I guess it is impossible to do it in 3 days... you have so many escapdes! just a friendly advise. to see is to believe... anyway, you can change your flight plan if you over stayed :)
