Could someone give me an idea on the cost of hiring a taxi to travel around Penang with stops along the way. Say maybe 4 hours all up.

We hired a car and driver from Ocean Jupiter's in Batu Ferringhi. It was 25MR per hour for a car and 35MR for a van. You can go wherever you want and stop when you want. There was a minimum of four hours. We had Gani as a driver and he was fantastic.

We do the same, Ocean Jupiters have great drivers and nice air conditioned vehicles. You can organise it beforehand by email ojtours@yahoo.com
