Visiting Gold Coast end of July for a week. Looking for budget two room apartment with fan/air cond with full kitchen about $300 per week. Must be around Tugun, Bilinga or Coolangatta. Near shops and planning to travel by bus.
Any names of accomodation fully appreciated. Anyone know about this place, Sunset Strip Budget self contained flat. Is this place okay? Price is $420 per week? Wonder whether they have fan/air con? |

Try this place -
www.pelicansands.com.au We used to live south of the border and when my parents came up to visit, they liked to stay here because it is close to the Coolangatta airport, right on beautiful Tugan beach and I think it's what you are after. Great place, great location with bus at your front door and airport 2 minutes away. You'll love it! Oh and btw, welcome to vt...the best little travel community on the net!! Cheers, Ann :o)

Don,t worry too much about the aircon, it will be winter and while it won,t be icy cold in that area it won,t be hot.
