Can anyone tell me bus times from Hat Yai to Krabi or a website where I can find this information? Thanks.

you can go by mini-van, purchase your ticket at any travel agents near the train station, buses leave on a more regular schedule, the journey takes 6-7 hours, I left Hatyai before 9 a.m. last time.

Agreed with Markbank, long distance bus is a good option. When i took the bus, it left Hatyai bus terminal at 8am, arriving Krabi at 1:00pm. It took about 5 hours, depending on how fast the driver is driving. The bus stopped at Phattalung, Trang, and then Krabi. From Krabi, the bus continued on to Phuket. The bus is aircond bus. It is the bus that runs between Hatyai and Phuket. It cost about 220baht per person. Please take note that the bus didn't make any bathroom stops.

Bus terminal is located outside of Hatyai downtown.
