You can look at the Stuttgart Tourism website, and, also, www.whatsonwhen.com. They do have a beer festival in May. Gary

one of the most popular sites to find out what's goin' on in major German cities is www.prinz.de Understand some German ? If yes, check it out, it's the most up-to-date info you'll get and also less touristic. Enjoy, lobopequeno

try this site: http://members.virtualtourist.com/m/65701/3c5a/4/ is at my VT page. The springfestival will end at the start of May. Is like the Volksfest at September, only little bit smaller but 1 week longer. You should go there. Greetings Andreas
