Yes, it is New Delhi Railway station that you need, If you are intending purchasing your ticket form the tourist booking office here then Be Aware of the Major scam that is going on, it is mentioned in Lonely Planet, But even with that knowledge I still had some difficulties in getting passed these scammers !!

I used New Delhi station to go to Agra. The train was good and they even brought breakfast round!

Certain trains goes from New Delhi Station to Agra and many others go from Nizammudin Railway Station.

Bhopal shatabdi is the best train start from New Delhi at 6.15 and reach at Agra at 8.12. This is also the best train and most fast too for going to Khajuraho as it reach to Jhansi at 10.45am only.From Jhansi there is by road journey for Khajuraho.

There are two best train. One - Shatabdi Express leaves at 0610hrs from NEW DELHI station, other is Taj Express leave 0700hrs from NIZAMUDDIN STATION.
