Paphos Travel Forum

Hi, New today to this Forum. Just about to book my holiday to the Capital Coast Resort and Spa in Paphos. This resort is being buit at present anyone seen/heard anything about it and whether it will be finished by the summer. Have heard mixed messages.

I don't think I would risk it without a firm guarantee, in writing, of alternative equivalent accommodation plus compensation if it was not open in time for any booking made by you.

Depends very much on who is offering the holiday. A reputable holiday company will usually provide you with an alternative (this happened to me at Christmas, as the Paphos hotel I was to booked at was inaccessible for coaches due to the harbour pedestrianisation), but this may not be possible if you are travelling at peak season.

I would, I think, be somewhat wary. I doubt whether anyone can give a firm guarantee about building being finished in time (Paphos & area seems to be one huge building site at the moment) so you might anticipate ongoing works even if it is opened.

No way will this hotel be ready for the summer. They are indeed still building it!

They open officialy 1/8/08.they start getting booking.is very nice hotel
