Hi. I am interested in visiting Cameroon in June-July [unable to go at other times] and Lonely Planet says many roads are impassable during these months. Does this mean it is basically not possible to travel around the country by ground transport at this time? Or do they mean many small roads? Thanks

hi!,it is a little bit difficult to travel during the months you going because is the raining season, but i can say 80% of main roads are paved.
the difficulties in fact will be implefy by hasards cause by the rain.
for example in the rain forest a road bloked by a follen tree or a river getting out of his bed.

It depends on where you are going. In the North-West for example, the rainy season starts at the end of july... Well, the streets between the bigger towns are paved and you should have no problems. It is only the small, unpaved roads to the villages and small towns that might be a problem. Where exactly are you planning to go? Maybe then I can answer you question more exactly...
