Palermo Ferry to Naples
Posted: Sun February 3, 2008 07:40 PM UTC
We are planning to travel from Palermo to Naples by ferry in late May. We note that there are two ferry lines, SNAV and Terrenia, that leave and arrive at about the same time.We have used Terrenia line in the past; can anyone tell me the difference in the two lines? SNAV is slightly cheaper, but would not be the deciding factor. Any difference in comfort of accomodations, place of departure and arrival, etc? Also how far from the port to the Naples train station.

First of all if you don't have to take the ferry (you don't have a car) I'll advice you to forget about the ferry and take a plane => cheaper, faster!
Otherwise, according to the opinion I was reading on Ciao.it, people are complaining a lot about the bad service they've had on board with Snav. Therefore I'll choose Tirrenia.
By the way, for plane ticket you can take a look on:www.volagratis.com
Have a nice holiday,
Laura
