| Seattle | Boeing Factory tours from Seattle Posted: Sun February 3, 2008 01:54 PM UTC
I'll be in Seattle in November for the sole purpose of going to the Boeing factory. I wanted to get an organised tour from Seattle that can pick us up from the hotel. We'll be there on Tue 11th Nov, however all the tours I can find online don't seem to go on Tuesdays! Can anyone recommend a tour company that runs a daily tour to the Boeing factory? Thanks

I'm afraid that, while you may find a few tours that will take you 'to' or 'past' the Boeing factory, only Boeing itself guides tours *through* the factory. Last time I checked, the available opportunities to take the Boeing tour were infrequent, and most of them were fully-booked well in advance. It's a favorite activity for school classes, so the bookings fill up quickly.
If it's during November of 2008 that you're in the area, you may have a shot at a slot on one of the Boeing tours if you act now. I think you can book through the Boeing website. If your visit doesn't coincide with one of the tour dates, I doubt there's much to be done to get Boeing to offer a special tour, unless you're a VIP of some sort. Fritzrl
