Hi, I am looking for a nice hotel in Marrakesh 4 to 5 star. Preferably with a pool, evening entertainment and close to all the sites. I have 2 girls aged 7 & 10, so a kid friendly hotel would be ideal. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Hotels we have been looking at are: el andalous ,Amine Hotel & Kenzi Farah Hotel Many thanks |

Maybe you'll like to check out La Maison Arabe: http://www.lamaisonarabe.com/? It's within the Medina but a tad off the main activity hub from Place Jemaa El Fna. It's opulent and comfortable and they have a pool in another section of the city (where they also hold their cooking class) Just a suggestion....

Hi,
Not sure when you are going as this was not stated but if you are considering the Kenzi or Andalous, be warned as these are in what is known as the Hivernage district and about twenty minutes walk to the medina. The Amine is still further out than either of these. Try to avoid as much as possible using taxis as the drivers are out of control charging what they choose and refusing to turn on meters. Having said that, I have found the older drivers to be more honest and so get a tip. Map available if you need to check locations (e-mail please).
