I have made a lot of reading on how to get to Angkor Wat, and have decided maybe taking the early morning train to Aranyaprathet as the flights are too expensive for me. However I am still unsure on the best way to then travel onto and through the border to Siem Reap. If anyone could give me some advice that would be great, is a taxi the quickest, best way and what's the best way to avoid being scammed?
How long could I expect a jounrey to take all in all from Bangkok to Siem Reap? Many Thanks |

Hi I agree with the above answer check out the Tales of Asia site, - this is up to date information on the road/rail trip from Bangkok including all the latest scams going on!

definitely check that website, I have used it to check the most up to date info on the overland trip between BKK and Siem Reap.
