Do any of you have pictures or information about this site. It's a very old castle, that's on the water, south of downtown Naxos. I have not been to Giardini but hope to get over there. I found out that a very distant relative owns the castle, I can't find out who it is or how to get in touch with this person. So I'm trying to find out as much information about the castle as I can.

You are probably mispelling the name, and that's bad for search engines. You are talking probably about torre di Schiṣ (typed also Schiso')
http://www.ipaesaggi.it/Castelli/Schiso/Giardini.htm Here (http://nicknicola.altervista.org/documenti/Jo/309.pdf) it says that the castle is also called "Palazzo Paladino" from the name of the last family that lived in it... But that doesn't mean that the Paladino family still owns it. Sorry, i cannot find more. Ciao Francesco
