| Remagen | hotel pinger Posted: Fri February 1, 2008 03:30 PM UTC
We have seen a lovely holiday in a brochure in uk. It says we will stay in the hotel Pinger in Remagen - do you know anything about this hotel? ie standards, food, rooms etc?.
Many thanks |

It is in a very nice area but I haven't been able to find any reviews for it. Can you tell me in which brochure you found it?

I stayed in this hotel in june 2007, Very clean and beds comfotable, 10 min stroll to the Rhine. Food is no longer cheap in Germany, average about 18_25 Euros P.P. for Lunch, always good portions and quality. hotel cost's about
70 eoros per night, deals can be obtained on-line, try hotel web site, www.hotel.de/remagen

LOL... I shall be moving to Remagen this Friday, thanks folks, I was wondering about this hotel as my family is visiting me and needs a place to stay for a night until we can be comfortable in my new house!

I have stayed at this hotel many times i will be there again in September for the wine fest.the hotel is clean and the meals are buffet if you are going by coach and the staff friendly and helpful the only down side is its right across the road from the railway and you have to keep your windows closed as the trains run all night. saying that you are only about 15 minutes to Bonn

yes, the railway lines are a problem in the entire Rhine valley. Does Pinger have soundproof windows at least?
Win, who now is living in his house in Remagen and is also looking forward toward the Weinfests
