| Warsaw | Warsaw at night Posted: Fri February 1, 2008 01:12 PM UTC
It's me again this time with a question about what me and the 11 yr old can do in the evenings.
And before you suggest I read the Warsaw pages- did that and got GREAT tips from everyone's pages. When my daughter and I were in Rome and London our biggest problem seemed to be what to do in the evenings. We had absolutely no problem finding plenty of things to do during daylight hours but after the sun went down we invariably found ourselves sitting in our hotel room surfing TV channels and reading. Boring. We can do that at home for free and with a full fridge! Most travel books and VT travel pages only list night clubs as later night entertainment and since I sincerely doubt the little will be let into a dance club (although she'd be all for it, let me tell you) I was wondering if you have any other suggestions as to how we can amuse ourselves outside our hotel room in the evening. As usual - any ideas and suggestions are welcome. Thanks for all your help so far. I'm sure I'll be back with more questions later!! Dzienkuje and do zobaczenia, MB |

Some suggestions for you:
- IMAX 3D cinema; - Baj Theatre - Dolly Theatre - the oldest one in Poland (founded in 1928)- good, both for young and older children; - if you are visitng Warsaw during winter you may for example ice skate; - a visit to a salt - iodine cave - http://pl.youtube.com/watch?v=yuxujidj1Qk (unfortunatelly, only in Polish language). There are two worth recommending: Almonis cave - http://www.almonis.pl - and Galos - http://www.galos-goclaw.pl. The first onen till 9 pm and second 8 pm on weekdays. The salt comes from the Dead Sea. There is special microclimate, proper humidity and temperature 22 C degree. The air contains iodine, magnesium, calcium, potassium, sodium and bromine - all necessary to live. Shows lasts 45 minutes. You will be seated in an comfortable armchair, listening relaxation music and treating with light-therapy.
