| Manila | Boracay. is it station 1, 2 or 3??? Posted: Fri February 1, 2008 06:34 AM UTC
We want to stay where the best beaches are. no stony beach. also, want to be in the heart of the island, that is, where the "scene" is. Which station fits the bill? if there is a remote part of the island with better beaches, then that's okay too.
Also, please recommend a good guesthouse/resort. $10-$40 per night okay. |

Hi There,
I travel to Boracay every year. I advice you to stay at station 3. It`s less crowded. Station 1 is where the action. Restaurants, bars, shooping and night life. I can recomend "Marzons Beach Resort" you can check them out on the internet. It`s a beach front hotel. Have a great time in "Bora"!!!

The entire stretch of White Beach, from Station 1 to Station 3 is approximately 3.7 kilometer. Very fine white sand all. No rocky beach portion whatsoever (at White Beach).

The beaches in Boracay are not stony. The finest sand in White Beach is in Station 1 and parts of Station 2. You can find accommodation that will meet your requirements in Station 2.

I agree with Juds, the best part of Boracay beach (in term of fine white sand) is in station 1 and half of station 2. station 1 is where the action is (pier 1, cocomangas and the like). but if you want the light mood, you can walk along station 2 and find bars with acoustic music/bands.
