Check out my tip for Hotel El Aldalous on my Marrakech page - nice children's pool and pool - also a tennis court. Walking distance to Djemma El Fnaa - they might like that.

Hi! When are You planning visiting Marrakech? If its the summer, I'd recommend finding a hotel with a pool - try the Gueliz area. I've stayed at Hotel Oudaya and The Moroccan House, which were reasonable and had pools. Gueliz isn't too far from Djemma El Fnaa - it's the French Quarter - taxis are reasonable and frequent! Gueliz has some very reasonable restaurants and bars, more westernised shops, and a cinema.
What do Your girls like to do? Some suggestions might be a caleche ride (horse drawn carriage ride) camel ride in the Palmieries area.(There are also Quad bikes here). Djemma El Fnaa at night is an exciting experience for all ages. Chez Ali at night is probably worth considering - a typical Moroccan meal eaten in a tented room, with traditional song and musicians, followed by an immitation of a Fantasia - With horse riding acrobatics, rifle shooting from horseback, a magic flying carpet!, camels, fireworks etc. Quite a spectacle!! In the Summer a brightly painted double decker tour bus, travels around the city, passing the popular sites, with taped info - tickets valid for 24 hours, so you can hop on hop off when and where You want. How long are You going to be in Marrakech? if 3 days or more, I'd suggest a trip to Essaouira 3 - 4 hours away by private taxi or bus - to see the seaside, and a different atmosphere of Morocco. Please contact me If You have any more questions,and/or check out mine and other VTers tips on Marrakech for other tips of things to see and do / hotels etc. Best Wishes, Sue x
