I am looking for something small and a relatively cheap place? perhaps a B&B type of place? Is there anything around? Not too far from the beach too..Any suggestions?

Sorry, can't help much. Most B&Bs are at least a couple of blocks in from the beaches. I would try for the beautiful Romantic or Old Vallarta area due to the atmosphere, great beach, reasonable restaurants and you can walk everywhere, no need for a taxi.
