Hi, we are going to Odessa in May. Do cruise ships dock far from the town and, if so, is there an easy way to reach the town. What should we see whilst there?

Not far, you'll need to walk for about 10 minutes before taking the funicular up the stairs, and then for another 5-7 minutes to reach the Opera House and the beginning of the Deribasovskaya st. But most likely they'll drive you to the city by bus.

Walk up the Potemkin Steps (you can't miss them)and turn left. (You really don't have to walk up them, there is a tram lift there). Follow the crowd to Deribaskaya St.
