How far is from the center of Graz to the airport?
what is the best and the cheapest way to get there?
is there a bus to the airport or is the taxi better solution???

There is a bus station outside the airport which takes you to Graz center. Buses are usually timed to match flight arrivals.

There is also a train station within walking distance but trains are only every 2 hours. You can get train times and online tickets on: www.oebb.at
The station at the airport is called Graz Feldkirchen

There is also a taxi rank outside the airport for the quickest and most convenient, but also most expensive, option.

We did this journey very recently - just two weeks ago.

The train station is about five-ten minutes walk away - trains are every thirty minutes to Graz. We checked this carefully as we have a flat in Maribor Slovenia and we will be using this airport regularly. If you have luggage it is permitted to take a trolley from the airport to the station.

It is correct that the buses are timed for arrivals and it costs just 1 Euro 70 into the centre and the journey takes 25 minutes. There are stops all around town and the bus terminates at the main train station. Tell the driver where you need to be and he will be able to tell you the best place to get off.
