I will be visiting Guyana in March / April and will be visiting the coast doing some turtle watching and visiting Iwokrama. I would like to take some thank you gifts for the people whom I meet on my journey. Any ideas what would be appreciated?

You could end up with wanting a couple of hundred gifts.
Keep it small, something like keyrings from your own country.

Thakns for the suggestion. I was trying to think of something that might be useful to the people there. One of my friends who has lived in Suriname suggested "flipflops" or t-shirts for our tourguides.
