WOuld like to know what are the sight seeing places to be visiting in Hurghada.

Not much sight seeing. One of the main attractions is Scuba diving. Very cheap to learn and get you PADI license, although they run trips to see the Bedouin people in the dessert. Be careful with valuables on this trip.

there is many places to be visited in Hurghada of course not very impressive like Luxor and Cairo
like the oldest church here it dates back to 1922 it was built by the workers of the oil company in english style when they discovered oil.
the biggest mosque which was buit in 1965
the village for the fishermen the orginal inhabitants of Hurghada
the port and beside it the port for the fishermen and don forget where they r buiding the boats and the big ship without machines
also the desert and the bedounis their and don be worry about anything u have so long you book through a reliable travel agent
there's a roman city as well
also diving
and from here u can visit Cairo and luxor by air or by land

Sightseeing in Hurghada is mostly underwater. I enjoyed the quad bikes which go into the Sinai at sunset. Great fun speeding through the lunar landscape. A boat trip to Giftun Island for relaxing and Snorkling is worth a visit. For Museums and history you need to go to Cairo/Luxor. Sunbathing is excellent but if your from Dubai i shouldn't think that will be your kettle of fish.

Oops sorry. The quads are good in Hurghada but infact you can't go into the sinai - thats Sharm el Sheikh.
