Where would I go to get best deals on projectors,consumer electronics etc...
Is it true that once quoted a price you can go 75% less and expect to pay nothing more than 50% of the original quoted price? Is this true for clothing,shoes,accessories and electronics or just certain items? |

You are right, NEVER pay more than half of the asking price. The best shopping place is on the border to Hong Kong in a shopping centre called Lo Wu, There is also a nice shopping district in the Dongmen area, but I found the quality of what you buy is slightly better at Lo Wu. Keep in mind that most are brand copies. Some good quality, some not so good. If you buy clothes, the sizes are very small.
