Olden is a tiny little place - which gets a lot of tourists because of the Briksdal Glacier. It's a beautiful area! More info here as well: http://www.briksdalsbreen.com/

(Oh, and while you're there, buy a bottle of Olden water (it's sold all over Norway) - the water comes from a glacial source. ;o)

Olden is a small place. A pension, Small Café, Post office and a small Factory Outlet for the Norwegian brand 'Skogstad' sportswear. A quite deserted place really. Closest town is Stryn. That said, the Olden valley from the port of Olden into the Briksdal Glacier is VERY scenic and is why we 'all' go there. The narrow green valley, the special colored water... When mentioning Olden most Norwegians either think of the Briksdal Glacier or Olden bottled water sold at almost every grocery shop, tapped at a factory close to the Glacier at Olden valley.

Although tiny, Olden is a very scenic and beautiful place. You have very much got the-icing-of-the-cake here regarding cruise ports. :-)
Welcome to Norway!
