Cologne Travel Forum

Hi,
I'll be visiting cologne this weekend.I've heard that everything is shut on sunday.Would like to know if the Cologne Dom,4711 house and the Chocolate museum will also be closed on sunday.

The Dom and the Chocolate museum are open on Sundays, 4711 isn't.

Google is a wonderful thing.

Stores are closed on Sundays, restaurants and museums are open. (Museums close on Mondays.)Since the 4711 exhibition is inside the store, this one is closed on Sundays.

Only for people where shopping is "everything". Pretty boring nowadays where you have the same chains of stores nearly everywhere.

Actually there are quite a number of sights/attractions only open on Sundays or Saturdays.
