| Fátima | Traveling to Fatima Posted: Sat January 26, 2008 06:49 PM UTC
I am joining a pilgrimage to Fatima in March. There are times were we will have the option to explore the area independently. What places should I see? By bus or train? Also, any tips 1)about the hotels in th Fatima area, 2)must see and must not go places, 3) must places and/or to eat 4)or any tips that will make my trip memorable. Thanks!

HI
Not problem if you are the option to explore the area independently, Fatima is a small town with a big santuary and catedral, you have many hotels and acomodation www.fatimavirtual.com,there is in region small town ancient, Tomar, Alcobaça, Leiria, Obidos..etc, but if you are car. Transport: Bus to Fatima - www.rede-expressos.pt (only in portuguese). Dicitionary: Tickets,Price,Time = Compra de bilhetes Departure = Origem Arrive = Destino Train - www.cp.pt (in english) Good trip..enjoy
