Gibraltar Disabled Access

I will be visiting Gibraltar in the summer and wondered about wheelchair access to the main sights - particularly the cable car ride to the summit of the rock.

gibraltar is a place with a lot of steep hills and not that wheelchair friendly in my opinion.

the cable car should not be a problem though.

In my opinion Gibraltar is not the best place for a wheelchair user. The main tourist areas would be ok, but there are lots of steep areas and steps. The buses however can accomodate wheelchairs. the people are very friendly and helpful so if you go im sure you will have a great time. Places such as the siege tunnels and the caves would not be possible.
