| Hurghada | Ferry Travel Posted: Sat January 26, 2008 06:05 AM UTC
First posting on here so hello to everyone!
We have bought an apartment in Hurghada which is being built and should be ready by December 2008. This is primarily an investment to rent out but we will hopefully find time to make use of the apartment ourselves. I have however noticed that flights into Sharm El-Sheikh seem to be significantly cheaper than flights into Hurghada. I therefore wondered if it would be cost effective to fly in and out of Sharm and get the 1.5hr ferry that runs between Sharm and Hurghada? Alternatively, does anyone have details of cheap flights from UK (manchester/liverpool)? Thanks in advance for any assistance offered. Kind regards Tom. |

Thanks Hurghada Lady, so that's about £40 in sterling. Is that each way? I believe Easyjet are now into Hurghada with prices under £100 so the ferry might still be a cheaper route. The cheaper the route the better if I am trying to rent my place out to Brits.
Cheers Tom.

Sorry Hurghada Lady - I meant to say that Easyjet are now going into Sharm - not Hurghada - hence my thought about the ferry option.

Oops, just checked again on Easyjet website and they are flying into Hurghada from Gatwick! When they first launched the new routes they only mentioned Sharm. Oh well, I can scrap the Ferry option but at leaast I know what it will cost if I wanted to visit Sharm for the day.
Cheers Tom.
