i have heard about the palazzo viviani hotel in montegridolfo, and would like to stay there the first weekend of april.i'm coming for the grnd prix(copa de mundo) in rhythmic gymnastics in pesaro.is it difficult to get from the hotel to pesaro without a car?there does not seem to be a train stop in montegridolfo.also, any suggestions for a nice hotel in pesaro?any recomendations for restaurants in the area?as long as they are accessible by taxi or train,i'm ready to go! would LOVE to sample local cuisine:anything from home-style to fancy.thank you in advance for your advice :)

Oddly, what looks like the hotel's website doesn't mention how to get there - see http://www.montegridolfo.com/palazzoviviani.htm . Possibly this is because they assume that you will drive in from Pesaro or Cattolica, about 15-20 kilometers to the east.
No, there is no train station in Montegridolfo. You might try emailing them at montegridolfo@mobygest.it (I lifted this address from the website). I just looked at the official city website (only in Italian), and there is no mention of any public transportation to this town, even bus (surprisingly, the only bus service mentioned was for the school year (and for school kids only, I assume)). It looks like the town assumes you will drive there, too... On the other hand, it does look very interesting ;-) Bill
