| Koblenz | river cruise Posted: Tue January 22, 2008 08:53 PM UTC
I am taking a group of kids ( 40 ) to Boppard in June. According to new regulations, the bus driver needs 1 rest day which prevents us to use the bus. to which town can we go on a river cruise from Boppard ? 2 hours maximum.
Thanks |

You can look at the web site: www.k-d.com. That is the main cruise line. Gary

Downstream is on the Rhine much faster than upstream.
I would travel by train to Bacharach (23 min) and from there back by boat to Boppard (~1,75 hrs). http://www.k-d.com For the train you can get discounted group tickets with up to 70% discount. http://www.bahn.co.uk/db_uk/view/products/groups.shtml For the boats best would be to contact KD directly. With 10 or more persons it's better to reserve anyway. And also about the price (pupils get a 50% discount and also groups - not sure if both can be combined). http://www.k-d.com
