OK, the post game ritual is plenty of pastis (often the "51" brand). Just ask for "astis cinquante-et- un". You'll get a pitcher of water with it - make sure you use it.
After several "aperos" comes a good 3 course meal with wine. Local cuisine and wine are top rate. Try cassoulet - white beans with bits of pork, sausage etc. Winter dish, but April should be OK. Many others.
Try armagnac to finish (and help the digestion). Then off on the town for a few beers.
The city is rugby obsessed.
I'm jealous - keep trying to go back on a rugby expedition and take my son, but never find a weekend when I can go and they've got a home game.
I played for a 2nd division team in the city - not recently!
