As far as I am aware there are only three intern. airports in the Philippines, that's Manila International (NAIA), Clark and Cebu.

The airport nearest Iligan is at Cagayan de Oro city. It only services domestic flights so you could fly there from Manila by PAL or Air Philippines.

Hello Art

There is another international airport in Davao although I am not aware of any flight between there and Iligan City or CDO, so you will have a very very long bus ride.

Cebu Pacific also fly from Manila to CDO, about 3 times a day. You can check flights and prices on their website here:
http://www.cebupacificair.com
Make sure you click next after seeing the "Go" fare to get the actual fare including taxes. I just checked a fare with taxes for next Tuesday. It was P2,395 one way.

I am not aware of any flight from Cebu City to Iligan or CDO. I have travelled from Cebu City to CDO several times with Transasia Shipping Lines

in the presidential suite of the ships Trans Asia 1 and Asia China. It is a very pleasant overnight trip. If you are interested, you can see video footage "MV Asia China" on this page of my website:

Iligan used to have an airport but was closed to commercial traffic. People would have to go to Cagayan de Oro City (85 kilometers or 1.5 hours bus ride) which has more flights to Cebu and Manila than any other airport in the region.

The best route to take is going to Cebu international airport then take a direct ferry to Iligan. If no direct ferry is available (ferry trip not frequent), you have to go to Cagayan de Oro either by plane (Cebu Pacific) or ferry (Trans-Asia, Cebu Ferries, Sulpicio). From Cagayan de Oro, take a bus to Iligan at the Westbound-Bulua Bus Terminal.
