| Washington D.C. | Trying to Organise a tour of The White House in April 2008 Posted: Tue January 22, 2008 03:53 PM UTC
My Fellow VTers (pardon the pun)
Is there anybody out there interested in joining a tour of The White house ? What I am looking for is a list of 8/10 people who are British Citizens who will be in Washington DC between April 22nd and April 25th, and available to do the tour. Tours of the White House are available to US citizens but non US citizens have to apply through their Embassy. The British Embassy only arrange them for parties of 10 or above. And you can only apply 30 days in advance. So there you have it. Are you in Washington 22nd to 25th April this year? Have you got a couple of hours to spare to see inside one of the most iconic and instantly recogniseable buildings in the world ? I need your names and email details as soon as possible. There is paperwork to fill in passport numbers etc etc but all that can be done nearer the time. Regards Ted McIntyre |
