Hi do most department stores accept visa or mastercard?
how about the night markets, do they only accept cash? thanks |

All the shopping centers accept credit cards but not the night markets..

I dun think u can use credit card at the night markets. Even some restaurants that I went with the locals dont accept card at all. I heard from my Taiwanese friends that it is usually very common coz the shop owner might use this to avoid heavy tax. I understand tat carrying huge sum of money during tour might be a bit scary so i would recommend tat u may bring your credit card along but use it to withdraw money at the teller machine when necessary. Tatz wat I did during my last few trips there.
