Just booked a girlie birthday weekend to Lloret de mar. Was told we can just jump on a train from Barcelona to resort. Any idea if this is true ?or any advice would be great. Many thanks

hi
if you mean BCN ap, you can take C-10 shuttle train to Sants and change to C-1 renfe line to BLanes. there right outside the station you change to a bus for a 10-15 minutes ride. I think you can buy one ticket for all the travel, /for a group 4(+) and return travel BonoTren may be more economic/ although there is know railway in LL!! here you can check timetables /Horario map/Plano + price http://www.renfe.es/cercanias/barcelona/index_horarios.html only in Spanish :)

Not true.... You can get a train to Blanes which is the closest station to Lloret and then get a bus. Check the schedules as Freland suggests.

Ive just booked cheap weekend too for Feb!! I looked into gettin train as thought this would be the cheapest option but turns out cheaper just to book shuttle bus. How many of you are there? and when do you go? xx

are you sure private shuttle is cheaper? are you landing in GRO or BCN airport? well, it depends how many persons. A.

Im flying in to GRO and have booked return shuttle transfers from the airport to hotel for 8.75 per person taxi was 45 pound and minibus 60.
